Honey 3-type taste comparison set
A tasting set containing 30g of 3 different types of honey.
Enjoy the rich flavors of Southern France.
Three types of honey: Lavande, Camargue, and Garrigue
This honey is produced by small family-run beekeepers who work according to traditional methods. It is 100% natural, rich, and of high quality. It is also free of additives and colorings.
Lavande
Lavande means lavender in French. This rare honey is made from the nectar of lavender flowers. It has a refreshing lavender scent and a smooth texture with a rich flavor.
Lavender honey not only has a floral taste, but is also said to be good for your health in the south of France where it is made.
It has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, making it a popular all-purpose health remedy for sore throats, flu-like infections, and insomnia.
You can also add it to hot milk before going to bed.
It's also recommended for pancakes. Just pouring it on makes the pancakes fragrant and lightly delicious.
Camargue
The Camargue is a special nature reserve, located within a UNESCO Natural Park, between the salt waters of the Mediterranean Sea and the fresh waters of the Rhône River.
Plants that have adapted to the environment of the sea and rivers have flourished there, and the honey has become a highly fragrant honey made from a variety of nectars. It has a characteristic mineral taste that lingers at the end.
It is also said to be effective for digestive disorders and insomnia.
Try it simply with rye bread. It also goes great with olive ice cream.
Garrigue
Garique is a government-designated region in Provence, southern France. The region is sandwiched between the mountains and the sea, and in its dry, harsh climate, only small, sturdy flowers can grow there. This honey is made from the nectar of herbs such as sage, mint, thyme, rosemary, and lavender that grow in this untouched natural environment where only sheep live.
It has a rich color and flavor, and is creamy like caramel with a strong flavor. The deep color and strong aroma come from herbal flowers, and it is uncolored and unscented.
This honey is good on bread and pancakes, but it's also delicious drizzled on yogurt.
*Do not give honey to infants under 1 year old.
