The dessert wines of Rivesaltes Château de Nouvelle are produced in the dry, hot climate of the historic Durras castle, located in the vast hills of southern France and overlooking the majestic Pyrenees Mountains.
One of the precious vintages, "RIVESALTES AMBRE 1985" is a limited edition product that allows you to enjoy the wonderful harmony of grapes.
This wine has been aged further than the 2008 Ambre, and has a rich, golden color and a full, full-bodied flavor.
Once you drink it, you'll never forget the taste!
Rivesaltes Ambre is made from three white grape varieties (Grenache Blanc, Grenache Gris and Macabeo) from the 1985 vintage.
Ambre is characterized by its brilliant golden color, delicate aroma, smooth mouthfeel and nutty flavor.
It goes very well with white fish such as red sea bream, fruit tarts, cheesecake, and foie gras.
In France, dessert wine is often drunk as an aperitif or after a meal with dessert.
On hot summer days, we recommend pouring it over lots of ice as an aperitif!
You can also enjoy it in a variety of ways, such as having it with after-dinner desserts or chocolates while warming yourself by the fireplace during the cold seasons from autumn to winter.
We recommend serving it chilled at 10-12 degrees.
Alcohol content: 17% Capacity: 750ml
[Reviews]
This dessert wine has an amber glow and looks particularly special.
While sloping shoulder bottles are the norm, this sleek, angular bottle gives off a sense of luxury.
After taking a sip, the deep, sweet aroma wafts through your nose, and the luscious taste reminiscent of apricot and yellow peach is absolutely delicious!
It's deep yet fruity, and very addictive.
A chilled Rivesaltes Ambre goes perfectly with dishes that use fruit or blue cheese, and is also recommended with dark chocolate after a meal!
